Cookeville – Summer Reading Kickoff Presented By The Putnam County Library May 24 from 10:00am – 2:00pm at Dogeood Park. Join this FREE kick-off celebration for Summer Reading! Stop by to register and visit with some community guests at Dogwood Park (weather permitting). We will move inside the library in the event of rain.
The Summer Reading Program encourages participants of all ages to attend any and all of our special events and read to earn prize books! Registration begins on May 24th and will remain open throughout the program. Events and activities will be held begining after Memorial Day, throughout June, and into July, ending on July 13th. (see calendars for details). Feel free to register for the program at all of our branch locations as well! (Monterey, Algood, & Baxter) The first day to retrieve prizes will be June 3rd and the last day to retrieve prizes will be July 13th. Don’t miss out on the fun!
