The Dish: Superstar Israeli chef Eyal Shani on his revolutionary approach to dining

Eyal Shani is a bona fide superstar chef in his native Israel, and a regular judge on the country’s version of “MasterChef.” He’s turned his casual pita restaurant Miznon into a global phenomenon, with locations in Tel Aviv, Paris, Vienna, Melbourne and two in New York. In April, Shani opened up a second location of his high-end eatery HaSalon in New York, after the restaurant revolutionized the dining scene in Tel Aviv. Dana Jacobson reports. Source

Sarfraz Manzoor on new Bruce Springsteen film “Blinded by the Light”

Sarfraz Manzoor fell in love with the music of Bruce Springsteen while growing up in working-class England. His story is the basis for the new movie “Blinded by the Light,” which will be in theaters nationwide this weekend. “CBS This Morning” co-host Anthony Mason met up with Manzoor at the place that helped launch Springsteen’s career, The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey, to discuss the Boss’ influence on his life – and what it was like to meet him face-to-face. Inside the California car auction known as “Woodstock on Wheels”

At Monterey Car Week – which has been called “Woodstock on Wheels” — visitors can catch a glimpse of some of the most rare and expensive cars in the world. And some, who have a lot of money to spend, can also come away with a new set of wheels. Nearly $400 million worth of prime automotive hardware could change hands at six different auction houses. That includes a 1994 McLaren F1, considered the world’s first supercar, which sold last night at RM Sotheby’s for a record $19.8 million. Jamie Yuccas reports. Source
