Outdated gun tracking system delays thousands of cases, workers say

In the past three years, about half of all homicide cases went unsolved, according to FBI data. The National Tracing Center of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives traces the background of a gun recovered at a crime scene, but employees say the system is outdated. NYC Mayor Eric Adams says he looks forward to proving his innocence

New York City Mayor Eric Adams pleaded not guilty to federal charges, including bribery, fraud and campaign finance violations, on Friday.
