Shannon talks about spending a lot of his time outdoors doing things like kayaking and fishing, some spots around the area that Shannon likes to visit throughout the year like Rock Island State Park, and what gave Shannon the itch to get outside .

Together they discuss what made him choose to attend TTU and his early life growing up in Cookeville, the various tools that people can take with them on hikes to help identify wildflowers and other plants, as well as what got Eli interested in the outdoors, and wanting to be outside in general.

Cookeville Vice Mayor Luke Eldridge discusses his efforts tackling homelessness.

Homelessness has always been a part of Upper Cumberland life, but over the last three years, the visible signs of homelessness have increased dramatically. We explore the issues behind homelessness, and how the Upper Cumberland is trying to solve the problem with Luke Eldridge. He has spent time over the last several years working with UCHRA and UCDD on the problem. He now serves as Cookeville’s Vice Mayor.
