Today In The Upper Cumberland: Cookeville Regional Medical Center At 100

Jim and Lee Moore reflect on 100 years of Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Cookeville’s history of a public hospital began in 1921 – a 15 bed private clinic. It was purchased by the city 6 years later when it became City Hospital. Then in 1950, the city finished a new hospital – Cookeville General. Just part of the history – 100 years of Cookeville Regional Medical Center. The hospital really took off from the 1950s until the modern age. To reflect on that – Jim and Lee Moore.
