Today In The Upper Cumberland: Community & Law Enforcement

Sheriff Eddie Farris & Police Chief Greg Etheredge discuss community relations.

Tuesday night would, in every other year, be the National Night Out Against Crime. But this is not every other year. The annual community building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships has been cancelled across most of the nation, or moved to October. It does give us, however, a good chance to reflect on our role in law enforcement as regular citizens. It also gives us a good launching point to talk police work in the context of the recent national discussion. Our guests – Putnam County Sheriff Eddie Farris, and Livingston Police Chief Greg Etheredge.
