Today In The Upper Cumberland: Television Pt 2

WCTE’s Becky Magura discusses the changes in television in the last 10 years.

It started out as black and white, and the size of a greeting card. And now many people love to watch it on a device the size of a greeting card. It is television. From three networks to the cable universe, to now content providers that can also send you copy paper and toilet paper. Television has evolved continually, but what we’ve seen in the last 10 years may be the biggest change of all. We continue our discussion with Becky Magura, she heads WCTE, but more than that, she serves as one of the national directors of public television. She is on the front line of the changing world of television.
