Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition’s Emily Beard talks immigration
The immigration debate has been among the hot topic issues of the past year as those on one side fight for a more security based policy while others focus on the human toll of those trying to enter the United States. Tennessee may not be at the center of immigration the way California or Texas is, but the state has seen an increase in immigrants. The Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition looks to provide those coming to Tennessee with a voice. Emily Beard is a Coalition Coordinator.
