Every week on The High School Playbook, we break down high school games from around the Upper Cumberland. Week 2 of the high school football season is upon us. Coaches talk all the time about the improvement from week 1 to week 2, and Friday night’s games will certainly put the teams of the Upper Cumberland to the test. This week, Livingston Academy Head Coach Bruce Lamb, White County Head Coach Mark Frasier, Cookeville Head Coach Jimmy Maynord, and more join the High School Playbook to preview tomorrow night’s games.

This idea has been around for decades, but it has gained footing in recent years as concerns grow about autism, ADHD, and other medical issues that we simply do not understand. And its prevalence has made headlines as numerous states have seen illness outbreaks not seen in decades. For insight, we turn to Michelle Fiscus, the head of Tennessee’s Immunization Program.
