First witness takes the stand in Donald Trump’s New York criminal trial

Former National Enquirer Publisher David Pecker was the first witness prosecutors called to the stand Monday. He will return to testify Tuesday. Prior to testimony, the first order of business Tuesday is a hearing over whether Trump should be held in contempt of court for defying a gag order. Source
