PG&E to shut power amid California wildfires

California’s largest utility, PG&E, announced Saturday it will shut off power to 940,000 homes and businesses in 36 counties in an effort to prevent more wildfires from sparking. Two major fires are burning across the state, threatening homes and prompting mandatory evacuations. Carter Evans reports. Source
