It started as a desire to sing and turned into a full international project. Lindsay came from a musical family and for a while stretched into the area of classical and even opera. While she enjoys these stylings, her guitar and her songwriting back her back to her other loves like the Posies. After sending one of their members, Ken Stringfellow an improptu video of her covering their songs, he offered to produce her record. Working from his studio over seas, using file sharing and a trip stateside, the two managed to release that disc earlier this year. She has also been working on a follow up and relying on fans input. While they may be a newer band, the experience among it’s members is certainly not. Playing in various band and being a part of the local music scene in the Upper Cumberland over the past several years, Atomic Dogs feature a group of guys with a clear passion for the music they make. Andrew is a songwriter first and performer second, he’s been making music in groups and solo around the Nashville for a few years. Having worked with the group Mellow Down Easy before pursuing the solo side of making music, Andrew has quite a few influences reflected in his music. Hailing from Smyrna and performing mostly around the Nashville area, Cryptic Calling return to talk about the release of their self titled debut and plans for performing and writing more material. With a start in metal bands, they’ve shifted towards more of a mainstream rock sound whose early influences shine through in their music.
