Lillian Hartgrove talks COVID-19 decisions made by the State Board of Education.
Lillian Hartgrove quietly stepped away from the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce this winter. And then COVID-19 happened. For Hartgrove, it meant getting to work as the leader of the State Board of Education. Any thoughts of taking it easy were suddenly put to the side as Hartgrove and the Board began to make tough decisions about what school would look like the rest of the spring semester.
